Your first Classic Lash Extensions appointment is usually painless, you’ll keep your eyes closed, and you’ll mostly just relax while we work lash by lash.

When you come in for Classic Lash Extensions, we’re doing a true classic set: one extension on one natural lash for a clean, believable look. Plan on about 60 to 90 minutes for most first-time full sets, and arrive 5 to 10 minutes early so you’re not rushing. We’re appointment-only, with free parking, and we take cards and digital wallets, so your visit stays simple.

If your goal is great retention and zero fuss, prep matters. Here’s what we want you to do before you walk in.
The quick checklist
- Come with clean, makeup-free eyes. No mascara, no eyeliner, no eyeshadow fallout. It saves time and helps the adhesive bond the way it should.
- Skip caffeine right before your appointment. Coffee and energy drinks can make your eyes fluttery, which slows us down.
- Remove contact lenses or bring your case so you can take them out here.
- Tell us what “natural” means to you. Bring 1 to 2 photos you actually love. We’ll match the vibe while still keeping your natural lashes in mind.
If you’re coming in from Phoenix, Tempe, Fountain Hills, Chandler, or Paradise Valley, give yourself a little buffer for traffic and parking near Old Town Scottsdale and Scottsdale Fashion Square. Walking in calm helps, and it keeps your set from feeling rushed.
Step-by-step: what happens during your first Classic full set
This is the part most first-timers worry about, and it’s usually way easier than you expect. You’ll be lying down comfortably with your eyes closed, and we do close-eye detail work the whole time.
1) We talk through your lash look first
We’ll ask what you want to see in the mirror: subtle definition, a soft “mascara” effect, or a little more length while still staying natural. Aftercare in Scottsdale heat: the first 48 hours matter most
Right after your appointment, your lashes should feel light. You might notice a little awareness at first just because you’re not used to the extra length, but they shouldn’t feel heavy or painful.
The rule: Keep them away from water and steam for 24 to 48 hours. That means no hot yoga, saunas, steamy showers aimed at your face, or face-down showers right away.
- Go oil-free around the eyes. Oil-based makeup removers can break down adhesive faster.
- Brush gently daily. A quick, light brush keeps them neat and helps prevent tangles.
- Sleep on your back when you can. Side-sleeping and face-sleeping can flatten one side and shorten retention.
- Watch sweat and humidity. Scottsdale’s dry heat is great for a lot of things, but sweat, gym steam, and monsoon humidity spikes can mess with bonding if you jump into them too soon.
Most people do best with a fill every 2 to 3 weeks. Waiting longer often turns into needing a full set again, because natural lashes shed on their own schedule.
