Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lash Extension Removal.

Most professional removals take 30–45 minutes depending on extension style, adhesive strength, and natural lash condition. A thorough consultation and gentle adhesive dissolving ensure safe, complete removal without damage. Longer sessions may be required for heavy or layered sets.

Removing extensions at home with DIY tools or oil can cause lash breakage, irritation, or incomplete removal. We strongly recommend professional removal to use proper solvents and technique, protecting natural lashes and avoiding eye irritation or accidental lash loss.

When performed correctly, removal should not damage natural lashes. Our trained technicians use controlled adhesive dissolvers and gentle techniques to prevent pulling. If your natural lashes are already weak, we provide aftercare and treatments to restore strength and promote healthy regrowth.

Arrive with makeup-free eyes and avoid waterproof mascara or lash serums for 24 hours. Bring prior extension information if possible. Avoid caffeine to reduce eye fluttering. Our technician will assess your lashes and explain the removal process before starting.

Often we recommend waiting 24–48 hours to allow lashes to settle and ensure no irritation from the removal products. If your natural lashes are healthy and no irritation occurs, some clients can have a fill or new set the same day at technician discretion.
